Demand for second-hand homes is still very high. At time of writing, we have agreed SEVEN sales by the 11th of December.

Last Year We Agreed 101 Second Hand Sales.

This Year a staggering 140 Second Hand Sales to date in 2020!

We are going to try and agree 150!

We feel it is still possible to be in a home before the March Stamp Duty Deadline.

Careful Choice of Solicitor is very much the key. They need to be proactive and to have the capacity to handle the transaction.

Local Authority Land Searches are taking around 35 to 40 working days (7/8 weeks). So, a need to agree a sale before the end of January in theory.

Lockdown has been an interesting challenge. The relocation buyer has had obstacles but there have been enough windows for travel to allow sales to happen. The majority of our weekends have been the key to sales with only one of our Sundays being non-productive (the Sunday immediately after Lockdown-Remembrance Sunday).

We will enjoy our break around Christmas. Until then it is business as usual.
