The Winter Festival with the Lantern Parade was again very well attended what a lovely sight it was. The Christmas lights again make the town look both pretty and dare we say classy. There is a Christmas Market on the 13th of December which follows the Friday Market on the 12th. There is also the Farmers Market on the 13th so there should be a lot of stalls.
The regular round of meetings, especially to do with tourism, have meant that there are great plans for our area next year. So it is a case of watch this space.
The centre shops are stocking up with Christmas fair and all the eateries seem to have their particular Christmas bites planned. Well worth popping into town to check them out when you get a chance.
Lyneham seems to be more than just over the Horizon. The first residents will be on site around March 2015 with it being fully up and running by September 2015. Look out for special promotions and events to welcome the new neighbours.
