APPETITE TO BUY IS STILL THERE!
With the ‘ups and downs’ of 2024′ we still managed to agree 132 sales by the end of last year.
By the middle of October 2025 we have managed to agree 128 sales so far.
We had a meeting with one of the major portals who kindly passed on many interesting facts about the market this year.
Wiltshire seems to be in focus for home movers. People who moved to the coast after Covid have found it’s not quite how they imagined it to be. Rather than heading back to the major cities, it looks like they are searching in Bristol, Swindon, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire areas.
It has been taking 128 days to sell a home in Wiltshire with around four price reductions for those that get a sale agreed. 132 days in Oxfordshire. For those that price it right, it takes around 60 days with maybe one price reduction.
The market seems to have readjusted to between 5% and up to 10% downward in price.
Sunday sales have been consistent all year. The last four Sundays have created six sales. Only two Sundays have created no success. Easter Sunday when we respectfully closed and one Sunday in March when it seemed that everyone went out to enjoy the sunshine ( Otherwise, a very grey month).
We were taken aback by the fact the portal told us our logo was hovered over 3.5 million times up to the end of August 2025.
