Quite simply, buyers are still keen to buy. The amount of people viewing on-line has been very consistent and in a historically challenging month for selling homes, it turned out to be as good as at anytime this year. Although footfall was down the amount of sales did not dip in level.
Being proactive we believe was the key and also getting the asking price right. If the signs were that the home was slightly high in price, then a price adjustment lead in general to a lot more interest. Despite the distractions of what was happening in Scotland which gave uncertainty in the money markets things were quiet for only a few days.
October will be interesting as people try to get in their new home for Christmas or early in the New Year.
