What a start to 2016 with fifteen sales agreed and very busy since we re-opened on the 4th January. We also managed to agree a sale between Christmas and New Year as usually happens.
The ‘Homeshow 2016’ is nearly upon us which has given us that extra focus and really helped keep the momentum forward. December seemed to be about buyers information gathering and we hoped that this would lead to a burst of activity. It very much seems that this is the case.
The only challenge we see is the length of time still that the Local Authority Search is taking to come back from Wiltshire Council. 35 to 37 working days! It is not in step with the majority of the rest of the country and is causing headaches for those relocating out or into our area.
Homes are starting to come to the market and we are looking to have a healthy supply for buyers during February. We have taken on some exciting instructions during January and we are visiting possible new instructions pretty much every day. Check out our ‘Coming Soon’ section on the website.
