[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Warm, busy and a tremendous amount of fun. A lovely day it was in Calne for the annual summer Festival. Lots of market stalls and the main feature being Titan the Robot. The kids loved it and the A4 was closed to let Titan do his thing down by the Town Hall.
It is really good to see the townsfolk of Calne come out on mass and enjoy the day. The crowds started to gather early on Saturday morning and the streets did not clear until around 7pm.
Friendly and generous as always. The Charities seem to benefit. The Calne Bike Meet stand for instance gathered a lot of donations and it was nice to see the 2015 Bike Meet T Shirts being as popular as always. For those who need reminding the Calne Bike Meet is the last weekend of July and promises to be bigger than ever.
Things to look out for from September onwards are the Food Festival and Heritage Week.
Calne really is a brilliant Festival Town.
