Solicitor Overload!!

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]We are coming across many transactions where a number of Solicitors have not ‘Geared Up’ for the change in market conditions. Therefore there are delays in getting paperwork out and in responding to questions etc.

This is adding weeks to a transaction because they can’t handle the work load.

If you are selling then once you instruct a Solicitor then you should get a pack sent out to you immediately. This needs to be filled in by you and delivered back as soon as possible. Once this has happened the Solicitor should get a Contract out within 48 hours. The Solicitor for the Buyer can’t do anything until this happens.

In the meantime the Buyer must make sure their Solicitor is in funds to pay for Searches so when the Contract lands they can be ordered immediately.

Make sure you inform them of the time frame you want and find out who will cover for them if they are away.

There are quite a number of Solicitors who did prepare for the change.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Closed deal of buying a house[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
